This leash is entirely handmade with love. We braid our leashes using high quality USA made 550 parachute cord (also known as survival cord or paracord). This cord simply cannot be beaten for its strength and durability. With the breaking strain of 550 pounds (approx 250kg), no wonder it is used in parachuting and rock climbing! Made of 100% nylon inner strands, it is coated with a high quality polyester case which is water and UV resistant. This leash can be washed unlimited number of times and it will last for ages!

The ends of the leash are secured using the technique called "splicing", which is one of the strongest cord binding techniques known. The splicing is even further secured with the decorative knot, making it practically impossible to come undone even under the heaviest of loads.

Our paracord dog leash is finished with the high quality super strong heavy duty metal hardware to ensure maximum security and comfort.

This paracord leash is braided using the technique called "crown knot". Apart from being simply beautiful round braid, it has "bouncy" effect, giving that extra slack while your dog is pulling. Being chunky and solid, it is best suited for medium to large dog breeds.
