Our Team & Partners
Our team & partners are those wonderful companies and individuals, who are working hard to make the world a better place. So, without further adieu…
Queenie's Pawprints became Marianna's ultimate passion, combining two things so close to her heart - pets and crafts. She puts her heart and sole into every project when creating beautiful, unique items for our fur-babies, and always makes sure that each piece is made up to the highest quality standards. After all, this is her beloved Queenie's legacy and she would never have it any other way!
After starting off in Sydney in 2019, Marianna and Queenie's Pawprints have relocated to Melbourne where most of the Queenie's Pawprints products are now designed and created.
Our mailing partners - an Australian company, founded by two hero humans - Anaita and Vik. This husband and wife duo has been committed to removing plastic from packaging and shipping in Australia, and so they began looking for an eco-friendly shipping solution.
After coming empty-handed with their search, they decided to create shipping mailers that were 100% home compostable, but also made from such materials that if they ended up in landfill, they would still break down with no waste. And the HEROPACK brand was born!
The HEROPAK mailers are 100% biodegradable, home-compostable and are made of 70-80% PBAT (a co-polymer that is completely biodegradable) and 20-30% PLA (which is a fancy way of saying cornstarch). In a commercial compostable environment, it will break-down within 90 days. At home, it may take up to 120 days.
HEROPACK mailers that we proudly use as our shipping solution, hold certifications which meet the Australian standards (AS5810 and AS4736) administered by the Australasian Bioplastics Australia (ABA), as well as the European/International standard EN 13432 controlled by OK Compost (TUV).
Compost-A-Pak® is an Australian owned family business, founded over a decade ago by one caring and intelligent individual, Peter.
It all started with the passion to ensure Australians have access to world class products, which make it easier for everyone to live more sustainably and protect our unique country and planet. So, after a few years of research, many prototypes and even more sleepless nights for Peter and his family, the Compost-A-Pak® brand was born.
The magic organic ingredient used in Compost-A-Pak® products is corn. Unlike trees, corn can re-grow and be harvested in a single season. All Compost-A-Pak® products are certified to the Australian Commercial Composting Standard (AS4736- ABAP10019), and their Doggie Waste Bags, which we proudly sell, are also certified to the Australian Home Composting Standard (AS5810-ABAP20001). They can be even used for organic farming, food contact, worm farms and in animal feed!
Founded by an amazingly talented Sasha,
Waldo’s Friends is a brand designed to create awareness and raise funds for animal rescue through ethically produced goods.
The idea for Waldo’s Friends was born when Sasha and her partner adopted their first cat and dog in late 2017. Within the span of one year, they came to know and love seven animals – all found or abandoned – from local shelters full of great people doing exceptional work. They've realised that, sadly, not all animals left behind get this lucky, and most of the shelters operate on frightfully low budgets – often through community volunteers and fundraisers. They've decided to do something to make a change. And that is how Waldo's Friends was born.
Waldo’s Friends is a project designed to bring together the two worlds: of animal rescue and environmentally sustainable business practises. With this purpose in mind, Waldo's Friends work hard to support the shelters and rescues who give second chances to our furry friends.
Greyt Martingale Collars
This proudly Aussie business was founded more than 5 years ago by one amazingly talented Queensland-based woman, Kris, who is the mum of greyhounds and a big supporter of greyhound rescue and rehabilitation programs.
Some years ago Kris decided to make fancy colourful martingale collars for her own greys. Soon after this passion have grown into a whole new idea of creating beautiful handmade martingale collars for greys, whippets and other breeds and by doing so - support greyhound rescues. This is how the Greyt Martingale Collars was born.
Kris does this not for profit, but to help raise awareness of the greyhound welfare issues and to support their rehabilitation programs. She donates all profit from her sales to this beautiful cause and we are extremely proud to be a part of it through selling her amazing collars!
Carma Critta is another proudly Australian owned and operated family business, founded by wonderful Andrea to address the need for a shampoo suited for dogs with sensitive skin issues. Rex, her Cattle Dog Cross, suffered from itchy skin that became sore and inflamed from fleas and grasses. After trying numerous shampoos, spot on treatments, visits to the vet and changing his diet, the results were only short term and the irritated skin would return.
Andrea decided to look into natural topical alternatives that would not compromise Rex’s health. This led her to gain accreditation in Pet Aromatherapy and as part of her study she created a natural dog shampoo using pure essential oils and a natural shampoo base, that not only soothe and heal sensitive skin but was still effective in dealing with fleas without the use of chemicals. And that is how All Natural Shampoo for Dogs was born.
The All Natural Shampoo for Dogs is made using only organic ingredients including pure essential oils that have been selected due to their healing qualities to help soothe irritation and soften dry skin. And wait for it… Even the packaging is eco-friendly and 100% recyclable!
